On Sunday, August 16, 2009, I preached in the AM Worship service at Christ's Church of the Valley, where I also serve in the youth department. I preached a study on 2 Chronicles 20:1-32, a text which lends itself very well to being a series.
Main points here:
- When in fear, turn to God
- Pray and fast as a community
- The leader (not just the pastor) must lead by example (hear me parents???)
- When the Holy Spirit speaks, listen and obey
- Act in obedience to God, and he will take care of the rest. Just do what you're told
